Anomalous Cold From Ukraine To Kazakhstan
Much of Eurasia is shivering, with vast swathes of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Russia enduring temperatures far below seasonal norms—as much as 12C below in some parts.
In Ukraine, meteorologist Natalka Didenko warns of "a cold atmospheric front slicing through the country," bringing gusty northwest winds and a marked temperature drop.
The broader Eurasian region tells a similar story.

Montana is staring down the barrel of a winter storm—in June. According to the National Weather Service, a foot of snow could hit parts of the state this weekend, with impacts more fitting for December than high summer.
