Antarctica's Second-Coldest December On Record

For the past few years, at least, Antarctica has posted colder-than-average month after colder-than-average month, and has felled a myriad of low temperature records, most impressive being the coldest-ever 'coreless' winter (April -Sept) in 2021.

According to recently released data, December 2023 has continued that trend.
