Year after year, the poster boy for global warming continues to defy CAGW predictions. This season is proving no exception.
According to the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), 2025 is delivering robust Surface Mass Balance (SMB) growth across the Greenland Ice Sheet.
SMB gains on Feb 12 hit an impressive 10 gigatons, making for the largest 'spike' of the season so far (chart below). To borrow a page from the catastrophizing playbook: that’s enough to bury Central Park under 2 miles of ice!
