Colder-Than-Average February For Canada
February 2025 was a cold one for much of Canada.
Prairie provinces, including Alberta and Saskatchewan, experienced a deep freeze, with temperatures plunging more than 6C below the 1991-2020 average. Cities like Regina (-6.5C) and Calgary (-6.1C) saw some of the coldest departures from the norm.
