Greenland keeps on keeping on.
DMI’s June 29 update shows the ice sheet still adding mass deep into melt season, with fresh gains across the southeast, south and northwest interior:
The daily SMB line is poking through the upper edge of the late-June range, gaining what looks to be the largest mass, for the time of year, in books dating back to 1958:
As a result, the season’s accumulated SMB also continues to impress, aiming up even as the calendar approaches July:
