Rare Frost Advisories In Ontario; It's Snowing In Northern India; Spring Freeze "Sharply Reduces" Russia's Wheat Harvest; + New Hunga-Tonga Paper Discusses Huge & Long-Lasting Impacts To Global Temps
Delhi's "record-high" 52.9C currently doing the AGW-rag rounds was posted by a faulty temperature probe.
Rare Frost Advisories In Ontario
Environment Canada has issued frost advisories for much of Ontario.
The weather agency said frost is possible early Friday morning, potentially damaging fruit trees and vegetable plants.
The Kent Federation of Agriculture (KFA) said the big concern is transplanted vegetable crops like tomatoes. New KFA President Bard Snobelen noted if they get hit with frost, they will likely have to be replanted, which is costly and time consuming.
"The longer it stays cold, the more damage that will be done," said Snobelen.
Meteorologist Peter Kimbell said it is strange to have frost so late in the spring, and he warns many-a low temperature record is at risk of falling across the province, particularly on the morning of May 31, including a handful set back in the late-1800s.
Speaking to similar events of the past, Kimbell said : "We had cool temperatures end of May 2021 and 1897."
"It's a very dry air mass that has been swept southward from northern Ontario over southern Ontario and is currently coinciding with a ridge of high pressure, allowing temperatures to cool even further under clear skies overnight, radiating basically to the dew temperature," he explained.
It's Snowing In Northern India
With the legacy media shamelessly exploiting (and exaggerating) Delhi's heatwave, it should be pointed out that such high temperatures are localized and not indicative of the Asian continent at large--not even of India at large.
As the media yells "all-time heat records!" and "children are fainting!", much of Asia is actually holding colder-than-average:
And with regards to India itself, anomalous cold is now striking the north, with the likes of Rohtang in Himachal Pradesh receiving fresh spring snowfall on Thursday:

It gets even better though, because that 52.9C (127.2F) doing the AGW rag rounds was from a faulty sensor. Temperatures in the area were actually around 47C (116.6F), according to the Indian Meteorological Department, some 6C lower than reported.
That near 53C posted in New Delhi suburbs, in Mungeshpur to be specific, was an error officially acknowledged by the IMD:
Faulty probes haven't done much to hold back the MSM though:
And unquestioning alarmists are duly lapping it all up, even brushing-off honest inquiry with links to additional copy-&-pasted legacy media articles:
Spring Freeze "Sharply Reduces" Russia's Wheat Harvest
Russia’s grain harvest is expected to be pegged back to 129 million metric tons in 2024 due to the freezing temperatures recorded in the country earlier this month, the head of the Russian Grain Union (RGU), Arkady Zlochevsky, has said.
