Snow Hits Central China
Central China is currently copping its heaviest snowfall of the winter, with cold instantly tightening its energy markets.
Snow depths in Henan are approaching 30 cm (a foot) Tuesday morning (video below) — a high-impact dumping across one of China’s most densely populated provinces, locking in surface cold and sharply raising heating demand.
Domestic LNG prices have turned sharply higher as a result.
Authorities have issued freeze warnings as the cold pushes deeper and looks set to persist into February.
Global Cooling
December closed colder. And not by a little.
The Dec 2025 surface temperature anomaly map relative to the previous ten Decembers shows decisive cooling.
Negative anomalies dominate nearly every continent and major ocean basin.
The characteristic ‘red dominance’ painted in many recent charts is absent.
The new ‘climate regime’ that supposedly kicked off in 2023-24 (following Hunga-Tonga and El Nino) has already died a death.
Strong Radiation And Geomagnetic Storms
A space-weather event is underway — the strongest in more than 20 years.
