Winter Is Coming
Following several days of heavy snowfall, Russia has recorded some of the Northern Hemisphere's lowest temperatures of the season so far (outside of Greenland and the Alps—notably Mont Blanc's record-breaking 24.6C/-12.3F).
The harsh Siberian winter is arriving early this year.
Sebyan-Kyuyol reached a low of -23.9C (-11F) on Tuesday, October 8; Susuman saw -22.8C (-9F); Batagay-Alyta posted -20.6 C (-5.1F); Kolymskaya hit -20.4 C (-4.7F), and Taskan-In-Magadan bottomed-out at -20.3 C (-4.5F).
Likewise south of the border, an early-season freeze is engulfing Mongolia and all, where yet another fierce winter is forecast…

The Arctic’s Northern Sea Route (NSR) is closing for shipping weeks ahead of schedule, as rapidly advancing sea ice grinds traffic to halt. Once again, nature is defying the alarmist projections; once again, this reality going unreported.
